World-class infrastructure

Mahaan Milk Food’s manufacturing facility at Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, India was commissioned in the year 2015. The facility spans an area of 10-acres, and is built with world-class manufacturing equipment empowered to process about 500,000 litres of milk every day and 1.5 billion kilograms of milk annually.

The plant is furnished with best-in-class innovation and technology, which guarantee robust quality standards and prerequisites and ensure complete compliance to manufacturing norms and requirements, including GMP.

With their design and installation qualifications, our facilities are highly capable of formulating various clinical- and infant-grade nutritional and functional products for a wide range of consumers. We ensure gentle drying with low heat for preservation of flavour and nutritional profile.

 

The scope of innovation with our multistage spray-drying technology has helped to set a new benchmark to deliver quality, efficiency, safety, and environment compliance. The multistage spray-drying allows for agglomeration and instantisation for better wettability and sinkability of product.

The spray-drying equipment has an output capacity of drying 9,000 MT of milk powder annually and ensures minimum moisture in the product at the end of the run. The dry-blending mixers have an annual capacity of 30,000MT annually and ensure homogeneity in mixing.

We have a 100% automated process, permitting greater audit-ability and traceability down to individual finished good.

With the incorporation of IoT, our facilities run to their highest potential enabling us to achieve high levels of food safety, improve traceability, cut down wastage, and reduce costs and risks across the different stages of processing and packaging.

As a cornerstone of our quality efforts, Microsoft NAV is spread across all functions providing the transparency to help direct and manage quality testing and reporting from raw material to finished goods. It offers end-to-end insight into the quality dynamics of our facility with complete forward and backward, auditable tracking of lots through our processes.

The facility is also monitored 24x7 with 200 cameras placed at various locations for surveillance.
